For the first year of this website’s life, I focused on writing long-form retrospectives of video games and TV shows I enjoy.
As well as being enjoyable to write, creating these articles served the dual purposes of (a) improving my web development skills, and (b) giving me an excuse to reach out to people who helped create things I enjoy. I count myself very lucky that I was able to speak to Mark Laidlaw (Valve Software) for the Half-Life article and Frank Klepacki, Joe Bostic, and Eric Gooch (ex-Westwood) for the C&C one.
Update, 2018: These pages were individually designed and haven’t been updated in the years since I created them. I’ve preserved them here in their original form for fellow fans to discover and hopefully enjoy.
